The Program uses Nutrient Formulas: Alpha ENF is the principle meal replacement formula. Alpha PMX is a fat free version of Alpha ENF can be used as food replacement. Alpha DMX is used instead of of Alpha ENF for diabetes 2 and whenever reduced caloric intake is desirable.

Alpha Nutrition Program

Let usexplain the simple logic used to create the Alpha Nutrition Program. The program is a standard method of diet revision, a personal technology of health restoration and health maintenance.

We start by recognizing three basic truths

First: Most of the diseases that lead to premature disability and death are caused by eating too much of the wrong food and exercising too little.

The second truth is that normal is not normal: The foods implicated in causing illnesses are common foods that almost everyone eats. To become a healthy person you have to redefine normal food.

The third truth is that each person is responsible for their own health. Rather than waiting for the next “miracle cure” for high blood pressure or diabetes 2, for example, responsible people get busy and fix the problem for themselves.

Self Management

The Alpha Nutrition Program is designed for self-help. It is based on the assumption that a well-motivated, person can understand the goals and direction of the program and can learn over time how to choose better foods and self-regulate, using some basic concepts and rules.

The program is modular and flexible in terms of the sequence and timing of food introduction. The duration of the journey is variable, depending on who is traveling, why the journey was undertaken and what burdens have to be carried along.

A relatively healthy person who wants to redesign a preventive and health optimizing Alpha diet can proceed more quickly than someone who is seriously ill. Both the healthiest and the sickest person need to clear during the first 10 days on Phase 1 and then proceed with food reintroductions. Since initial clearing usually takes 10 days, we have tended to use 10 day periods for planning progress along the path.

For significant health problems, Phase 1 can begin with a food holiday. Food is replaced by Alpha ENF for 10 days or longer. Alpha ENF continued as foods are reintroduced to supply a portion of the required daily nutrients as foods are gradually reintroduced.
